About Bill Burns

Bill is a an active performer and educator in the Dayton/Cincinnati/Columbus area. He currently teaches elementary general music and Jazz Ensemble in Centerville City Schools. This includes directing the "Cline Cougar Choir", the High School Jazz Lab Band, the Jazz Combo, and saxophone lessons. He performance experience includes work with the Dayton Jazz Orchestra, the Dayton Philharmonic, Pat Kelly's PsychoAcoustic Orchestra, and the Blue Wisp Big Band. He has recorded two albums featuring his original material and has been referred to the Dayton Daily News as "the biggest, baddest baritone saxophonist to play here in a long time".
