10/12/08 Ohio University will be hosting the first annual AUTUMN JAZZ WORKHOP on Tuesday, November 11, 1008. Details and application forms for participation may be downloaded here from the JECO website. Deadline for application is 10/15/08.

8/19/08 The JECO Board met for 4 hours today at Ft. Hayes in Columbus. Check back often for updates on exciting initiatives!

8/03/08 The executive board of JECO met for the first time at Planks Restaurant in Columbus. The group will meet again later in August to continue discussion of our reorganization.

8/3/08 In order for the organization JECO to continue events requiring funding, a modest dues structure will be formulated to take effect in several months. In the meantime, the board wants to invite all interested jazz educators (you're an educator if you play, teach, enjoy, write or talk about jazz) to participate in JECO.
